Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course the delegate shall be able to:
Recognise the importance of health and safety within a workplace
Identify everyone's responsibilities with regard to health, safety and wellbeing
Identify potential workplace hazards and risks, their potential impact and how best to eliminate, reduce and control them
Recognise the role of a health and safety management system within an organisation and how it improves and controls health and safety
Course Content
The course is broken into four modules:
Module 1 – Introducing Working Safely
Module 2 - Defining Hazard and Risk
Module 3 – Identifying Common Hazards
Module 3 – Identifying Common Hazards
Module 2 - Defining Hazard and Risk
Module 4 – Improving Safety Performance
Assessment
The IOSH Working Safely Training Course is assessed by a short multiple-choice exam and hazard spotting exercise at the end of the class.
