Mike Cowburn CMIOSH CEng MIMM

From the solid foundation of over 25-years experience, Mike Cowburn provides a unique blend of health and safety and insurance based risk management expertise, advising industry and insurance service providers on the latest and most effective risk control techniques.

A chartered engineer, Mike has extensive experience in industry and is capable of combining his knowledge with the needs of the insurance industry, bringing the two parties together in devising effective loss prevention techniques.

David Cowburn BEng, PhD, DMS

With over 25 years of running and managing businesses in automotive, engineering, security and electronics to Managing Director level, David Cowburn has experience of managing Health and Safety and business risk issues from within.

David’s insight in to business operations combined with his knowledge of risk management provides a unique ability to assess and assist clients in managing their risk and improvement programmes.

Able to advise at Board and management levels on a wide range of business issues and run improvement workshops provides a value added service to both insurers and clients alike.

Ashley James Cowburn BSc

Having successfully completed a BSc (Hons) in Safety, Health & Environmental Management, Ashley is continuing his studies currently taking a post Graduate Diploma in Law, whilst aiming towards attaining a Law Practice Certificate (LPC) thereby combining these two essential elements before joining the SRSL project management team and further enhancing our strengths.

Ashley, has already served within the insurance industry learning the basic mechanics of insurance practice whilst accompanying our experienced risk managers on site to test his new found skills.

Similar experience has also been gained through the opportunity provided by DWF Solicitors www.dwf.co.uk for work experience both in and out of the courts.

Ashley is a bright prospect for the future soon to be one of tomorrow’s generation of qualified and experienced liability risk managers.
